The Norwegian Canning Museum presents the history of Stavanger’s canning industry in an authentic cannery environment. There is working machinery and the world’s largest collection of Norwegian sardine can labels.

Smoking of sprats on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the summer – come and taste them straight from the oven! Guided tours in English at no extra cost.

Enjoy coffee and Norwegian waffles at the garden café, or inside the restored workers’ house.
