Since opening in 2001 in Norway’s capital Oslo, Alex Sushi has become the very definition of sushi art in Norway.
And in April of 2014, after several years of requests from guests, Alex Sushi finally opened a branch in Stavanger.
On the upper plateau you find the beautiful sushi bar, where you can watch the chefs create sushi art right in front of your very eyes. We highly recommend the Chefs Choice menu, where the chefs compose a new menu each day – one you will late forget! An extraordinary combination of sashimi, nigiri and maki made with exclusive ingredients such as Norwegian salmon and halibut, tuna, soft-shell crab and lobster.
For guests wanting something extra, exploratory dishes such as gunkan maki with salmon roe, fried salmon skin, whale sashimi and sea urchin tops the experience. They also serve their own Alex Sushi Riesling produced specifically for their food concept.
On the ground floor, the restaurant even has an own room that is designed for private dinners and larger parties. We recommend starting the evening treating yourself to a drink in the magnificent entrance bar!
